Through-hole plating
The new MetaLab has been unveiled to the media. This is an extremely simple system for through-hole plating of printed circuit boards. Although it uses chemicals, they are practically harmless to people and the environment. In addition, it requires only very small amounts of chemicals

Tools

Tradition and quality
Colinbus has been developing and selling solid-carbide tools for more than twenty years. This wealth of experience ensures quality. As a manufacturer of CNC machines, we want our customers to work with the best available tools. This is important not only with regard to obtaining good results, but also with regard to safety.
Special tools for special needs
Do you have special needs? That’s not a problem, because Colinbus has a tradition of making special tools to meet special needs. Thanks to our flexible production processes, we can also do this for small quantities. As a result, our standard line of special tools has grown considerably. There’s a good chance hat the milling cutter you need is already in our catalogue – have a look!
Large inventory and fast delivery
Thanks to our large inventory, it rarely happens that we do not have a specific tool in stock. If we receive your order before noon, your package will be shipped the same day. In most cases, customers in the Benelux receive their orders the next day. Customers in other EU countries can usually expect delivery within 2 to 3 days.

Tools for PCB milling
Colinbus unquestionably supplies the best tools available for milling and boring PCBs, with optimal tool geometry for machining FR3 and FR4 material or milling special materials used in RF applications. Our experience accumulated over the last 20 years is reflected in our exclusive range of tools. For instance, we have ‘ultra micro’ drills with a diameter of 0.050 mm and milling cutters for producing isolation traces with a width of 80 µm.
The tool quality is attuned to the production of PCBs. For example, material hardness is a very important factor. Material that is too hard is too brittle, while material that is too soft wears too quickly. Thanks to our extensive experience, we can guarantee that Colinbus tools deliver perfect milling results and last much longer.
Solid carbide at its best
Colinbus was one of the first manufacturers to implement HF spindle motors. At a time when everyone was accustomed to working with speeds up to a maximum of 8,000 rpm, Colinbus brought out a machine fitted with a spindle operating at up to 60,000 rpm. This machine enjoyed only limited success at first; the milling quality was indeed better, but the tools wore quickly or broke. This meant that there was a need for new milling cutters adapted to the new technology. Colinbus responded by developing a new, innovative tool geometry for milling plastics and aluminium. These tools have now been optimised, and they are among the best available.

Single-lip milling cutters
Single-lip milling cutters are primarily suitable for milling plastics and aluminium. They are also available for special applications

Multi-lip milling cutters
Two-lip, three-lip and four-lip milling cutters are designed for machining relatively hard materials or for special applications.

Special milling cutters
Special tools for very specific applications, such as rough cutters and polishing cutters.

Radius cutters
Radius or ‘ball-nose’ milling cutters. These cutters are often used for 3D modelling and milling moulds.

Engraving bits
Engraving tools for plastics and metals

Drill bits
Drill bits with diameters of 0.05 mm and up, primarily for machining plastics, light metals and PCBs
